Speedway is a unique motorsportstheme restaurant located in Newport Beach, California. It's open daily for lunch and dinner with an international menu designed for all ages. You're likely to find just what you're looking for on the menu.

Inside the restaurant you'll discover displays of race cars and motorcycles such as Formula 1 and NASCARs, Indy cars and Speedway bikes. Motorsports memorabilia from all types of racing fill the display cases; parts, helmets, and drivers' suits as well as complete race cars displayed on the walls. With 80 televisions showing all types of motorsports from around the world, both live and taped, you'll enjoy your favorite racing while you dine or relax at the bar. Additional Speedway locations are being built in Irvine (California), Las Vegas, and Detroit.

One of the highlights at Speedway is the famous MTV F1 car.

At the Speedway you'll see lots of great racing motorcycles as well as riders' suits and memorabilia.

NASCAR, Cart, F1, GTP as well as this Shifter Cart are on display.

Linda Vaughn talks with the crowd as the President of Prolong, Elton Alderman looks on.

Linda signs posters for a Cruise Night fan as his son, Nick doesn't seem to care.

Smokey Yunick signs posters on the Prolong Night as the Motorsports Manager (and 1960s Shelby team driver) Jerry Grant looks on.

The Speedway hosts many special events every month. One of the more popular events is "Cruise Night." Every Wednesday starting at 5:00pm, hot rods, classics, muscle and special-interest cars from all over the southland come to the Speedway to share in the fun, have dinner and be part of the best giveaway table in California. As a special bonus, six sponsors donate items each week. They are Prolong Super Lubricant, Eibach springs, Flowmaster Exhaust, Street Rodder magazine, Budnik Wheels and Tamiya Models. These great, high-end products help Speedway to produce a great event each week.

On Street Rodder Night you'll often see the famous McMullen Roadster.

Above: On Street Rod Night you'll always find a broad variety of splendid street rods, hot rods, and just about every other sort of nostalgia machines... after all, everybody's car is welcome!

One of the truly spectacular cars at Cruise Night. The pilot of this ground-bound missile (Lamborghini Diablo) stopped briefly at the Speedway for a bite to eat, displayed his car, then accelerated into the sunset...

Every Wednesday night Speedway and the sponsors award five trophies: One each for a GM, Fomoco, Mopar, Special Interest and Car of the Night. At left (with microphone) is Gerry Bill, VP of Marketing for Speedway and show promoter; at center is Rod Monday presenting one of the winning trophies.

After the evening's activities it's a great sight & sound event when everyone fires up his car.
